This little cake was the culmination of several baking ideas I had been considering. Alternating Red Velvet and Chocolate Cake layers are separated by a homemade Strawberry Jam and coated with a Swiss Buttercream and White Chocolate Ganache.

As you can see, it is possible to turn a real bouquet into a sweet decoration--mixing the edible and non edible, living and, well, cake. This idea can be transformed and modified to suit any taste, color scheme or arrangement, and is a great way to take your simple bouquet of flowers to the next level.
